The ligator is used to disrupt blood flow to hemorrhoidal tissue by means of a ligature placed around the hemorrhoid base. It is for use only by trained medical personnel in hospitals, clinics, and doctors’ offices.

The suction ligator composes of 3 parts: loading part, ligating part and handling part.

1. The loading part is a cone-shape piece, used for loading a Silicone Rubber Band.

2. The ligating part is a two-cylindrical tube, inner and outer tube which fit together. The inner tube acts as a sucker that sucks and fixes the hemorrhoid while the outer tube acts as a pusher that pushes and lodges the Silicone rubber band.

3. The handling part is a metal tube designed as a handle. It connects the ligating part with a suction unit. And can operate with one hand only.
