Titanium Jacobson Micro Needle Holder with Streamlined Box Lock (for use with 2-0 and smaller suture) is most often used for suturing in cardiothoracic transplant operations, though it has many other uses. The round handle provides excellent manipulation, and the jaws are impregnated with fine tungsten carbide dust to increase grip and durability. The streamlined box lock’s longer, slimmer profile grants surgeons improved lined of sight, and are twisted to prevent suture-snagging. This needle holder’s blue anodized titanium construction makes it both lighter and stronger, as well as making it non-magnetic.
